It is a matter of Pride & Pleasure for me to work as Principal of MAM COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, Education, Kalaburagi(Gulbarga). The College is Established under the aegis of great visionary Hon. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Mujeed Sir, who cherished the dream of making this College a Centre of Excellence in pharmacy education. We are committed and strive hard to accomplish his dream.

Since its inception, MAMCOP has endeavored to transcend learning beyond boundaries. We are devoted to set benchmarks in nurturing children to grow into strong, matured, kind and intelligent adults, who are original in their ideas and decisive in their actions.

Medicines today have great power to heal and to improve the quality of life for millions of Peoples. The Pharmacist is a Key Health Care Professional in helping people achieve the best results from their medications. Pharmacists comprise the third largest healthcare professionals in the world and pharmacy profession has been evolving steadily over the last decade in India. Today, pharmacists have expanded their role from dispensing to pharmaceutical care by maximizing the benefits of medications.

In last few decades’ role of pharmacist and job opportunities have been expanded a lot. The various new areas are now opened for D. Pharm and B. Pharm students viz. Documentation, Regulatory Affairs, Government Sectors, Academics, Drug Design, Overseas opportunities, Research and Developments, Marketing, Pharmaceutical production, Quality Control and Quality Assurance, Hospital Pharmacy, Clinical Trials, Data Management, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacogenomics, Bioinformatics and many more.   

The primary focus of MAMCOP is for the holistic development of the students. The college also organizes periodically several professional refresher courses, workshops, seminars, etc. Apart from curricular activities, emphasis is given on developing the inter-personal communication skills of students by conducting various lectures and seminars by eminent personalities. The sports activities are also conducted periodically for the students. The college takes pride of its prestigious alumni spread across the entire subcontinent and as well as globally.
