The department have faculty members who specialize in different areas of theoretical and experimental chemistry. Faculty members are highly competent and efficient whose work is internationally recognized.
The Department has good instrumental facilities and has very well-equipped research laboratories.
Vision
To Establish a Centre of Excellence for Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Bio-chemistry in drug delivery through cutting-edge and modern approaches to Teaching and Research.
Mission
- Acquiring new knowledge in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry as well as Bio chemistry and Analytical Chemistry.
- Creation of Drug-Related Information through Studies.
- Contribution to the advancement of society through involvement in government and community groups, the provision of professional advice, or activities pertaining to medicinal chemistry and pharmaceuticals in general.
