Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
MAM College of Pharmacy provides the teaching and training facilities for students who opt for Bachelor of Pharmacy. The examinations and the awarding of the degree are carried out by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka. The entire teaching and training program, as well as the conduct of examinations, are in accordance with the Educational Regulations framed by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.
Requirements
Minimum requirements for admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy course are as follows:
- Qualify in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) or Biology (PCB):
- 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science
- Pre-degree examination or PUC (Pre-university Course)
- Intermediate examination in Science
- First year of the three-year degree course in Science
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
About the course:
The course of study in Bachelor of Pharmacy comprises of four academic years. There shall be an examination in each year on the subjects of that year.
Duration of course:
The course of academic training is of four years duration with a minimum of 180 working days per year, followed by a practical training of not less than six months in a pharmacy.
