Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics /Pharmacology
MAM College of Pharmacy provides advanced teaching and research facilities for students pursuing Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. The examinations and the awarding of the degree are carried out by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka. The entire teaching and research program, as well as the conduct of examinations, are in accordance with the Educational Regulations framed by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi.
Requirements
Minimum requirements for admission to the Master of Pharmacy course are as follows:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university
- Minimum aggregate of 50% in B.Pharm
- Valid GPAT score (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test)
About the course:
The course of study in Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology comprises of four semesters. There shall be an examination in each semester on the subjects of that semester.
Duration of course:
The course of academic training is of two years duration with a minimum of 90 working days per semester.
M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics)
- First Semester: Advanced Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biopharmaceutics, etc.
- Second Semester: Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacokinetics, Drug Delivery Systems, etc.
- Third Semester: Research Methodology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Advanced Pharmaceutical Analysis, etc.
- Fourth Semester: Dissertation and Viva Voce
M.Pharm (Pharmacology)
- First Semester: Advanced Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacotherapeutics, etc.
- Second Semester: Clinical Pharmacology, Toxicology, Pharmacogenomics, etc.
- Third Semester: Research Methodology, Experimental Pharmacology, Advanced Pharmaceutical Analysis, etc.
- Fourth Semester: Dissertation and Viva Voce
